Kentray’s story from inside MSDF

I have been in and out of MSDF for the past two years on rule violations. I have witnessed and experienced mistreatment and inhumane conditions. I am currently in a cell with a man that is lying on a boat [a piece of plastic placed on the floor that you sleep on]. There are three grown men in this cell and it’s been this way for two weeks. Also we are in a building within a building that receives no sunlight or fresh air. We don’t have any rec, which is taking away our rights. We sit in a cell 22 hours a day.

I have anxiety and PTSD. With these conditions a person can self-destruct any day in here. I’ve been suffering from depression also. I’ve received an ATR [alternative to revocation] and have been waiting 40 plays days just to go to a halfway house.
